About Me
Hello, welcome to
my website. My name is Steve Boulanger. I am 27 years old and currently
live in Farmington, MI with my beautiful wife Margaret & little
pup Bailey! My hobbies
include music (playing, writing & listening to), reading,
sports, working out, computers, electronics, playing games, and
spending time with family and
friends. I am also actively involved in my church, Oak Pointe.
I received my
undergraduate degree in electrical engineering with a
concentration in electronics from Lawrence Technological University.
I
graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2005 with a 3.80 GPA and was part of
several honors societies. I immediately returned to Lawrence Tech
& received my master's degree in Electrical &
Computer Engineering in December 2007. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA
&
high honors. Currently, I am preparing to take the Fundamentals of
Engineering (FE) exam which will be followed by the PE exam &
professional engineering licensure. After a few years, I plan to return
to school for an MBA.
I have been working
at Lear Corporation
since
May 2003. I began in the
automotive seating division working on occupant classification systems
and electrical wiring integration. I then held a position in cost
reduction for Lear's
electrical wiring and electronic products. I am currently working as an
electrical wiring engineer where I have worked on various GM, Chrysler
& Ford vehicle programs. See my resume for details of my work

interests include audio amplifiers, electronics,
automotive
electronics & wiring, software, tool
development, testing, power, energy & utilities, alternative
energy, medical, military/defense, aerospace.
